Have an iPhone? Get a Date!

The iPhone has the capability to do a great many things, and many which I have no idea what they do, but a new app which serves as a location-based social network is geared towards the single gay community. The people who are the brain of the iPhone now brings you Grindr. This is getting absolutely ridiculous. What happen to a good old smile and wink at a coffee shop or bar?! This is kind of cool though, but read the rest of this article at gayagenda.com to get more on the risks of using this application.

Idol Crush
I do not find him that attractive and he wears a tad too much makeup but I have a huge crush on this kid.
VT Gov. Douglas will Veto Same-sex marriage bill
The Governor of Vermont had a press conference recently where he discuss the legislation regarding same-sex marriage that has been making its way through the VT legislature. He stated that this issue is taking time away from the more pressing issue of the economy that the legislators should be focusing on. So in order to speed the debate over same-sex marriage along he confirmed that he will veto this bill if it reaches his desk. This is because he believes that the civil unions act is sufficient enough and that marriage should remain between a man and a woman. The senate review committee voted unanimously to passed this bill and it also passed through the full senate. It is currently in the house.
Here is a segment discussing his decision and a advertisement countering his decision.

Is Anybody Listening?
A high school teacher at a California school asked the students in his class how this economic situation is impacting their lives directly. This is one of the saddest and most moving things that I have seen come out so far about the state of the economy in this county. You should really take a second and watch this.
What would you do??
There was an experiment done on ABC's What Would You Do? That placed a (stereotypical) gay couple in a normally heterosexual rural sports bar. Look and see what happens you might be surprised.
My Apologies
