Vice President Joe Biden swore in California Rep. Hilda Solis as the next Secretary of Labor this Morning.Solis, 51, becomes the first Latina and the first person of Central American heritage to be appointed to a senior post in a cabinet level department, according to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials, which keeps an eye on such things.
